OUR STORE
Freezer Beef

ADK Freezer Beef is a trusted source and is free of drugs, growth hormones and other health concerns. Our beef is finished and packed to meet your individual needs, remains superior & healthier and normally costs a fraction of the commercial beef you find in the local store! Your investment also saves multiple trips to the store to maintain the needed supply for the family.

NO “Factory Farming”

Pasture-raised beef is vastly different than most meats purchased in the typical supermarket setting. America’s Industrial Food system consists of Factory Farms which produce mass volumes of beef to feed the nation through the use of heavy antibiotics, growth hormones, air/land/water/soil impacts and high animal stress. Although this may achieve corporate marketing goals, it is a well known concern when considering healthy choices for you and your family.

USDA Processing Facility

USDA state of the art Processing facility is locally owned, inspected and professionally operated for several decades. They comply with the requirements of the Federal Meat Inspection Act, which allows for regular USDA's Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS) personnel to review the process and policies associated with the facility. The beef is processed to meet your cut specifications, which likely includes thick plastic vacuum packed freezer beef. Orders of a quarter, half or a whole certified black angus may include thick bone in ribeyes, NY Strips, Sirloin, Chuck, roasts, flank steak, prime rib, filets, and hamburger. You can even chose specialty items such as sausages, beef jerky and more.

A quarter of beef will be a half of beef divided in two. That means that you get a mixture of both front and rear of the quarter to balance out the order. Many first time buyers or smaller families chose this option as a trial them come back for the half or full options on the next round.

Our beef is sold based on “hanging weight”, which is the weight of the curing beef while hanging for “dry aging.” The aging process tenderizes and adds flavor to the cuts. Hanging weight can vary from 700-900 lbs in a typical scenario. Remember, the “Hanging weight” has to be processed and trimming/discards can impact the packaged weight by approximately 33-40%. Generally speaking, a whole cow can mostly fill a chest freezer and last the typical family approximately 1 year.
